Ilan Shor v. Matei Dohotaru: Discovery Application

Ilan Shor, “a prominent Moldovan businessman and politician, and currently a member of Moldova’s Parliament,” filed an application in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia to obtain discovery from Matei Dohotaru, “the key prosecution witness in a criminal case against Mr. Shor in Moldova,” for use in criminal proceedings in Moldova alleging fraud and money laundering.
